a blue rusted look and a discovery ...

First pic is totally random but it's for Meowmisu. I said that I saw I look that would look stunning on her but of course, it was while browsing the internet that I found it and I couldn't find it again. So the 1st pic from Annabelle site gives a good idea of what it looked like but it was more plumish ....

2nd to 3rd pic : my EOTD and FOTD for yesterday....I used a bright blue-green color from the faces cosmetics and I blended it into a rust color (NYX). It looked really pretty in reality as the blue-green color is changing when you look it from different angles. On my lips, Heather from NYX, a nice pink-neutral color with a brown hue.

Discovery of the day : As you know I registered in a gym. I decided to attend spinning classes. It looked so much fun : you bike and you burn calories... Well, I should have known better : since when burning calories is FUN ? I nearly died of heart attack ! My god I am so out of shape, it's not even funny. I was still a beautiful red color 1 HOUR after the end of the class...I must admit though that it is a good way to sweat, so I 'll go again probably on monday ....Wish me luck !

EOTD : This color on my eyes is may be my favorite color ever. It's a faces cosmetics' one which number is a mystery to me ! I don't know why some companies use numbers for e/s (We want pretty names ....rule number 2 of make up : stupid marketing names are impossible to resist for a make up junkie...and a number is never funky !)

FOTD : Lips are Sparkling Orchid (see Pretty ! not WYZ304) from NYX. A dark bold purple lipstick that I like so much...

Margharita lips, JOTD and sunset eyes !

I was inspired by the beautiful Dulce Candy on Youtube to do a sunset eye. A little less dramatic though : no false lashes and no black liner. It was still very glittery and metallic but it doesn't show properly in the pics. I tried to picture my face in the bright sunshine but I was making crazy faces so they are not really publishing-able .....HAHA

TFSI as a primer

NYX Jumbo pencil in Gold as a base color

Copper pigment from GOSH on the lid

Rust e/s from NYX in the crease

Helium from Annabelle as an highlight

a plum from the Faces cosmetics (number unknown) over the waterline and in the outer V to give some depth. A MUFE pencil in a plum color on the waterline...

Lips :

NYX mauve lipliner

NYX Margharita lipstick (from the tube it's scary orange but quite sheer on the lips so no clown effect...Oups, I hope not !)

NYX sheer gloss (orange too , no name found....)

JOTD :

earrings done by me ...An old necklace that I dismembered to do those Chinese little lanterns...Not really lanterns but I don't know why, it makes me think of those big red paper balloons that you can see in some Asiatic movies ???

Soft Plum : how to picture soft EOTD ???

So yesterday, I looked tired so to fight back I decided to play low key make up...I am not that good a photographer so I had the hardest time trying to picture my EOTD. When a look is really soft, I doesn't show well on the camera. Any advice , ladies ?

Eyes :
TFSI as a primer
NYX lavender Jumbo pencil as a color base
Sugar dust from Annabelle all over the lid and to brow bone
Plum color from Faces cosmetics in the crease and outer V
Buff naked (Annabelle) as an hignlight color
L'Oreal telescopic mascara
MUFE aquapencil in plum (can't remember the number) under the waterline and in the outer corner to give some depth

Face :
Skintrue foundation (Annabelle) in medium beige
Revlon bronzer in shade 02
Angel blush from NYX

Lips :
Mauve lipliner (NYX)
Paris lipstick mixed with B52 lipstick (both NYX colors)

JOTD :

Cranberry make up : dupe !

As I said before, I am divorcing MAC ;-( ...but my quest for colors never ends and I turned to Faces cosmetics to feed the crave....

So after finding an almost perfect dupe for Somptuous Olive, I found another one for the famous cranberry and here is the result in pictures.

Products used :

eyes : TFSI, NYX jumbo pencil in gold, Yogurt (MAC) in the inner corner, Cranberry color (Faces cosmetics), MUFE pencil in a burgundy shade for the liner, Wedge (MAC) as a blending color and Vanilla (MAC) as an highlight

Face : Revlon HD in Nude

Cheeks : Orgasm blush (NARS) , Vanilla pigment (highlight), Revlon bronzer in shade 2 as contouring

Lips : NYX lipliner in Mauve, NYX lipstick in Ceto (gorgeous color !)

eyeshadow collection

Here we go for the eyeshadows, pigments....Most of them are NOT MAC but NYX and Faces cosmetics (which company has amazing products by the way...)
First palette : 2 NYX tropical (not that I love it that much but it was in 2 different trios from NYX), expensive pink from MAC, yellow from NYX
Pink, plum, purple palette
New buy : Cool capers set from MAC (love)
Green , blue palette
Coastal scent matte palette : I barely don't use it anymore, I don't know why because it's nice...and cheap !
Random colors put in a CD tower like Enkore did (Am I not the craftier girl in the world ? ...mouahaha) I absolutely ADORE Ardene colors . They are SO pigmented !
Pigments : Vanilla MAC pigment (Ze bomb , I could eat this thing. Perfect highlighter for chin , nose, cheeks), Gosh pigment (Rosewood and Coppering) and a sample of Melon MAC (not looking good on me , Sad, sad !)
Brown, neutral palette
Highlights and smokey eye palette

Purple rain

Always flattering, purple is an eyeshadow color that never let you down...
Products used : TFSI, NYX jumbo pencil in Lavender, a faces cosmetics eyeshadow in lavender with a number I can't remember, some deep purple in the crease (NYX again) and the help of Print (MAC) to give some depth to the outer V, Dazzlelight (MAC) as an highlight.
Porcelein skin and sheer gloss and VOILÀ !
